There is a new resource available on-line and in print. The Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ offers its Church Finance Handbook.

Newly updated and expanded by the Rev. Karen McArthur, this 2010 edition includes information on legal requirements, financial reporting, and employee compensation.

Based on a "give, spend, save" model, it outlines a framework for thinking about our church's financial resources. The Handbook includes sample financial reports, a one-page budget summary, and numerous sample forms and resources.

It can be downloaded from the MACUCC website by clicking on the cover of the book, or it can be purchased from the Conference office for $10.
